Katie Letts
(Managing Editor/Founder)

Hi there, I'm Katie! I'm a full-time editor and writer with over 11 years of experience. By day, I edit and write in the corporate world, but at night, I get to do what I do best—edit romance fiction. As part of The Clever Clique, I get to collaborate with fantastic authors who are passionate about adding their story's "happily ever-after" into the world, in the way they've always envisioned it. I specialize in bundle editing, combining my editorial expertise with an ethical use of AI tools to complete  developmental, line, and copy edits for indie romance authors, saving them time and money while still maintaining the highest level of quality. I also train authors who wish to learn how to use AI tools to support them in their writing process to do so in an effective and ethical way. When not editing or writing, I love spending time with my two beagles and singing lead in a disco-funk band.

The Clever Clique combines a passion for the romance genre, years of professional editing experience, and an extensive knowledge of how to use AI ethically (and efficiently) to edit fiction to provide indie romance authors with book editing bundles, saving them time and money without sacrificing quality. And isn't that the kind of happy ending we all want?
